The Hormonal IUD Access Group is a global consortium of governments, donors, researchers, manufacturers, procurement agencies, and service delivery groups that are collaborating to expand access to the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine device (IUD)—also known as the hormonal IUD—in low- and middle-income countries. Donors supporting this global coordination effort include the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO); and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

This portal is designed to be a one-stop shop for groups to share the latest research results, service delivery tools, and guidelines for global- and country-level stakeholders.

For more information about the Hormonal IUD Access Group or if you are interested in introducing this method in your country, please contact info@hormonaliud.org
